Bay Area forecast: With break from rain, how warm will it get?

Spring is still 2 weeks away, but the Bay Area is about to get an extended break from its wettest winter in at least twenty years.

A warming trend is expected to begin Tue with temperatures climbing about 5 to 6 degrees higher than Mon according to Roger Gass, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service. By Wed springlike conditions are expected with expected temperatures in the high 60s and possibly climbing into the low 70s in some locations, including San Jose.

Thu might be the warmest day of the week, where some locations might experience the warmest days of the year, including San Jose, Livermore and Gilroy .
